Young and old can marvel at a wide range of enchanting and comical theatre acts during Marketplace Madness XL. Alternate street theatre with a visit to the second-hand book market, the play village, the summer terrace, and finish the day with a touch of rock ’n roll.
On Saturday 15 August, from midday onwards, the finest street theatre acts will be performed at various locations throughout the city centre. Besides the Market Square, the Beguinage and the Fish Market, you can also catch several acts in the city park.
Mix longer performances with shorter acts that are staged several times, and create your ideal programme tailored to your family. Thanks to the additional entertainment available throughout the day, there’s never a dull moment. Prefer a bit of peace and quiet? The summer terrace offers refreshing local beers and regional products from 12 p.m. onwards.
