Ferry services on the IJzer

Use our two free ferry services across the Yser during your trips in and around Diksmuide. These are accessible by foot or bicycle:

1 on the IJzerdijk near café De Fot'Oeil and the Rapestraat in the Blankaart area.
1 on the IJzerdijk near the Dodengang and Galileiwegel on the Beerstblotestraat.

Timetable for 2025 (subject to change):

The ferries operate

from 1 May to 29 June: weekends, public holidays and bridge days, 2pm to 5pm
from 1 July to 31 August: daily, 7/7, 11am to 6pm
from 6 to 28 September: weekends, 2pm to 5pm
