Car routes/scooters

Discover the landscapes of the First World War in the Westhoek region by car or by motorbike. Six new car routes have been developed for the Centenary of the Great War.

There are two car routes that depart from Diksmuide: the Yserfront route (which goes towards Nieuwpoort) and the No Man’s Land route (which goes towards Langemark-Poelkapelle). Apart from these two, you can also buy four other car routes in the Tourist Office: Ypres Salient (available in English), Front Life, Free Homeland and the Pioneer Route. These are for sale for € 6.00/booklet.
