Notre Dame of Victory chapel

The Notre Dame of Victory chapel was an observation post of the Belgian army during the First World War. The former parish church of Stuivekenskerke was just outside the lines, that is why the army had an additional view on the front. After bombardments by the German army, only the lower side of the small church was preserved. Through wooden beams the observation post was simulated again.
