Ferry services on the IJzer

Use our two free ferry services across the Yser during your trips in and around Diksmuide. These are accessible by foot or bycicle:

1 between the IJzerdijk near De Fot'Oeil and the Rapestraat in the Blankaart area.
1 between the IJzerdijk near the Dodengang (Stiltepad) and Galileiwegel on Beerstblotestraat.

The timetable for 2024 will be posted here in the spring of 2024.
Always check the hours of operation here before you leave for the ferry service!

Please note: The ferries are not wheelchair accessible for the time being. We are currently working on plans to also provide a ramp for wheelchairs.

The ferry services in DIKSMUIDE in 2021/2022/2023 are being established with the support of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development LEADER.
